Start your adventure in Toronto, Ontario
Toronto has numerous airlines offering direct flights from the UK, and thus it makes for a great jumping off point for this road trip holiday. After a relatively short 7 hour flight, you'll make your way downtown and settle in to Toronto hotel, before perhaps heading out for an evening meal in one of Toronto's many dining establishments. Options include Koreatown, Chinatown or maybe having a bite to eat at one of the trendy restaurants found on King Street West.

Day 2
Explore Canada's largest city
Toronto is a big city, Canada's biggest in fact. So after a hearty breakfast, you'll hit the streets on your first of two full days exploring all that Toronto has to offer. Still a little tired after your flight? Then why not start off by using the City Sightseeing Toronto bus, this is a great way to understand the lay of the land and to get from attraction to attraction.

Day 3
Hogtown, Muddy York or Toronto as we call it today
Another action packed day in Toronto today, options include visiting one of Toronto's amazing museums, experiencing Ripley's Aquarium Of Canada or maybe even shopping till you drop in the upmarket Bloor Yorkville neighbourhood and the mass-market Eaton Centre. Finally, watching the sunset from the top of the CN Tower is a great way to sign off your Toronto stay. The brave amongst you might even opt to experience the "Edge Walk", be warned you'll need a good head for heights if you're going to venture outside 500m above the ground.

Thousand Islands
Day 4
Hit the road and drive to the scenic Thousand Islands region
Time to get behind the wheel and cruise east along the Loyalist Parkway to the Thousand Islands region of Ontario. Along the way we recommend you stop by Sandbanks Provincial Park for a picnic or to stretch your legs, here you'll find three huge beaches that some claim are amongst the best in Canada. Next, you'll continue east to The Thousand Islands area, this is a scenic stretch made up of 1864 islands dotted along the mighty Saint Lawrence River. Many of the islands have pretty summer homes on them, which will be your favourite island home?

Old Montreal
Day 5
Enter neighbouring Quebec
Follow the impressive Saint Lawrence River east to find Montreal in the Province of Quebec. After settling into your hotel, you'll be left with a day and half to explore majestic Montreal. Not sure that's long enough to see everything Montreal has to offer? Not a problem, as always we'd more than happy to add additional time to this stop or any other stop for that matter. Explore Montreal's amazing attractions
Montreal's highlights include Notre-Dame Basilica, Montreal Botanical Gardens, Mount Royal, Old Montreal and the Old Port area of Montreal. Your personalised Road Trip Pack will guide you through all the available things to see and do. How many you tick off is of course totally up to you.

Next stop quaint Quebec City
The next leg of the Quebec section of this holiday takes you further along the banks of the mighty St. Lawrence River to the historic and super pretty town of Quebec City.

Roam cobbled streets & historic castles
A second day to soak up the unique atmosphere of Quebec City. Walk the walls and the cobbled streets of the Old Town before enjoying a long lunch in one of the Parisian inspired restaurants that line the streets.

The nation's capital awaits today...
Ottawa! Out of all the big Canadian cities, Ottawa might just be our favourite. So get an early start, and head west looking out for the stop off suggestions contained in your Road Trip Pack. After arriving in friendly Ottawa, grab a map and hit the streets. This is a very walkable down, and thus it's best explored on foot.

A full day to enjoy Ottawa's attractions
World class museums, Parliament Hill and a UNESCO protected canal system are just some of what Ottawa and neighbouring Gatineau have to offer. After a busy day sightseeing, you can opt to either enjoy a leisurely meal in the Byward Market district or you can indulge yourself with a soak at the nearby Nordik Spa-Nature.

Day 11
Head for the great outdoors
Algonquin Provincial Park lies to the north west of Ottawa, and its a popular place to rent a kayak in search of wildlife. Whether you are on the water or dry land, you'll have the opportunity to spot moose, deer, beavers, bears and chipmunks as you pass through. For those travelling in late September or early October, Algonquin Park puts on quite a show of Fall colour too.

Continue west to the Blue Mountains
Your Road Trip Pack gives you route advise for each section of this flydrive holiday. Today we recommend you ignore the direct route and detour to Lake Muskoka, enjoy a nice lunch in upmarket Port Carling before continuing on to The Blue Mountains region on the shores of Georgian Bay.

After a leisurely morning enjoying the summer activities available at the ski resort of Blue Mountain, you'll head south to one awe-inspiring sight that is Niagara Falls. Trust us, you won't be disappointed once you get there!

What a way to finish the road trip!
Your last full day will be spent ogling at the breathtaking sight that is Niagara Falls. American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and Horseshoe Falls combine to create an awesome experience which will engage all of your senses. There is so much to see and do here... Ride the Hornblower to the base of the Falls, or experience the power from behind the falling water at Journey Behind the Falls. Niagara Falls will stay with forever, and it makes for a fitting end to what is an epic Canadian holiday adventure.
