Home to Anaheim’s Disneyland Resort, beautiful beaches and pretty oceanfront towns. Orange County is a region in Southern California. Orange County is 4.5 hours drive from San Luis Obispo, 1.5 hours drive from San Diego and just 1-hour drive outside of Los Angeles.
What to do in Orange County, California?
Laguna Beach, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Anaheim and Dana Point all fall under the OC, amongst others. It is a huge County with lots to offer for any road tripper. In Laguna Beach, you can venture to Victoria Beach, where you will find the abandoned Pirate Tower, after a little precarious rock climb. Laguna Beach is full of delicious restaurants and art galleries, there is a super relaxed feel to this town that makes it difficult to leave. Huntington Beach has a pier which juts right out over the ocean, a great spot to watch the surfers do their thing! Huntington Beach is known as Surf City USA, you can get surfing lessons here if you wanted to try catching some waves! Anaheim houses the Disneyland Resort bringing people from all over the world, whilst the locals favourite is Californias original theme park Knott’s Berry Farm in nearby Buena Park.

You might be lucky enough to stumble upon a food truck whilst you’re in the area too! If you’re visiting Balboa then a chocolate-dipped frozen banana or a Balboa Bar are sweet and refreshing in the hot sun. The Anaheim Packing House is a food court with unique foods and craft cocktails with a little something for everyone.
