What to do in Orlando? You can spend days exploring the different resorts and theme parks around Orlando, Florida. With Walt Disney World, Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Universal Orlando Resort, SeaWorld Orlando and LEGOLAND Florida, there’s something for everyone to enjoy! It’s not all roller coasters and rides in Orlando, however. There are tonnes of attractions for people of all ages to enjoy. You could take an airboat tour on the Everglades and enjoy the wildlife, or visit the Kennedy Space Centre to meet astronauts and even see an actual rocket launch!
What a local says… As you visit Orlando, Florida, you should head to the Old Spanish Sugar Mill for pancakes before hitting the beach or enjoying the natural springs at Wekiwa Springs State Park. To get up close with the reptile residents of Orlando, you can visit Gatorland. With 110 acres of gator-filled swamp, or drive just outside of Orlando to Lake Jesup, home to the largest alligator population in North America; you can take guided airboat tours here.
Where to eat whilst you visit Orlando? From Butterbeer to a Krusty Burger, whimsical recipes from our favourite TV and films are brought to life! You can visit the Leaky Cauldron for some good old British pub grub. There’s Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour for some incredible flavours. Top it off with some gourmet cotton candy in Honk Honkers- the Dr Seuss favourite!

Another of the best places for family fun in Florida is Miami; a glamorous retreat. Miami offers a dynamic blend of family-friendly beaches, vibrant cultural experiences, and exciting attractions, making it an ideal destination for families that caters to every member of the family.
Where is Miami Beach? Miami is an island city in South Florida, connected to the mainland by bridges.
What to do in Miami? Hitting the beach is an obvious first on your Miami Beach stay! South Beach is the place to be in Miami! The area is full of interesting characters, restaurants, bars and shopping. Most impressively, South Beach is like stepping back in time, with the art deco architecture lining the streets. The beach has bright turquoise water that you can walk out super far and still stand. The sand is so soft, why not kick back and relax under an umbrella.
Ocean Drive can’t be missed with its iconic art deco buildings and neon lights. Vintage cars don’t look out of place at all here. If you’ve had enough of lying under the hot sun, other things to do in Miami include shopping along Collins Ave or stepping into Espanola Way – the charming historic street is tucked away and has the buzz of a historic Spanish village.
When is the best time to visit Miami Beach, Florida? Miami is fortunate to have sunshine most days. There are light showers most days through the summer, lasting around ten minutes. June-November sees hurricane season in Miami, with September being the prime time.

Cape Canaveral proves to be an ideal family holiday destination with its fascinating space exploration attractions, interactive science centers, and pristine beaches, offering an out-of-this-world adventure for both young and seasoned explorers.
Where is Cape Canaveral? Cape Canaveral is just east of Orlando, Florida, and is part of the Barrier Islands that run along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. Cape Canaveral is 1-hour drive from Daytona Beach, 2 hours 20 minutes from St. Augustine and 3 hours 25 minutes to Miami Beach, so it makes for a great stop along your Florida Road Trip!
What to do in Cape Canaveral, Florida? First of all, the Kennedy Space Centre is a must. Launch into space exploration and learn about space pioneers and future space missions. Time your visit right; you could be in the front seat to witness a Rocket Launch into space! We recommend booking tickets online for this popular attraction as it will save time on your visit.
Once you’ve spent time exploring infinity and beyond, there’s much more to experience in Cape Canaveral. For thrill-seeking adventurers, surf lessons and bike and boat rentals are available. There are 72 miles of serene beach to get in some well-deserved ‘R&R’, and Jetty Park is the perfect spot.

What to do in the Florida Keys? Kayaking, canoeing and paddle-boarding are amongst our favourite things to do in the Keys. After your days packed with sunshine and outdoor activities, you can go to one of the many buzzing waterfront bars. There is great nightlife here, and there’s no better way to watch the sun go down!
Don’t visit the Florida Keys without… A Visit to the Turtle Hospital is a must! As you pass through Key Largo, you will reach Marathon, home to the incredible Turtle Sanctuary. There is a 90-minute tour you can take to see all of the amazing rescue and rehabilitation work behind the scenes!
