My favourite road trip that I have done so far has to be a loop around California starting and ending in San Francisco. The variety that the state has to offer is mind-blowing, and can only be appreciated fully on a road trip! From the beautiful pacific coast and Highway 1, to the desert landscapes of Joshua Tree NP, to the picture perfect Yosemite, it has it all- not to mention some great cities and coastal towns.
My favourite hotel in Las Vegas is The Cosmopolitan on the strip, as it just has a fab vibe with great rooms and a perfect location on the strip. Off strip I was lucky enough to stay at the brilliant Circa Resort and Casino in the Fremont St. area and absolutely loved it- it’s a sport lovers paradise and their Stadium Swim is well worth checking out!
Favourite USA city? It’s a tough one, as depending on where you are in the country, the cities are so different! Some highlights would be Austin, New Orleans and San Diego but I would have to go for Las Vegas! Sin City has everything you would want for a trip to the Southwest- amazing nightlife, great weather, luxury hotels and good prices and access to so many areas of natural beauty like Zion NP and the Grand Canyon.
Which road trip is up next? I’ve a big birthday coming up, so myself and family are to do our epic Vegas and The Canyons Road trip! I am very excited to take them to Vegas, and to then explore some of the best national parks in the country.
We had an amazing Californian family road trip with our teens this summer. Josh was very knowledgeable & helped us put together an amazing trip.
