How long have you been organising Road Trips through America?

As I child I spent every school holiday travelling around the US with my father who worked all over North America, and for the last 20 years I’ve continued my love affair with the cities, highways and natural wonders that are on the other side of the pond. I’m so grateful that I now get to share my experiences with others by arranging personalised road trip holidays.

Over 130,000 miles through 46 states.

Favourite place visited on a road trip?

Zion National Park, Utah has a special place in my heart, but New York runs it a close second. Zion is simply stunning – blue skies, towering red rocks, lush green trees and an emerald river combine to make this National Park the most beautiful place on the planet.

Favourite road trip?

The Best of the West has it all! Alpine mountains, deserts, coastal roads, and 3 of Americas greatest cities. Lets take just one day as an example…. You wake up in 5 star luxury in Vegas, by lunch you are in the middle of Death Valley and by dinner you are throwing snow balls in Sierra Nevada mountains! Only in America, only on a road trip.

Favourite excursion?

I enjoyed the Duck Tour we took in Miami, the amphibious vehicles explored the roads and waters around key spots and celeb’s homes. But, honestly? I’m happiest when I’m behind the wheel, cruising the highways.

Favourite hotel?

Hmm That’s a tough one, there are a three main candidates…

The National Hotel in South Beach, Miami is great. Cabana rooms by the stunning and often photographed pool. And a sunbathing area that opens right onto South Beach and the Atlantic Ocean. For dinner and nightlife, just stroll down the boardwalk to Ocean Drive.

Boulders Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona is perfect for a relaxing end to a road trip. You usually see wild Bobcats here too, they like to feed on the adorable rabbits that live on the golf course.

La Playa Carmel is centrally located in beautiful Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. It has a buckets of style, ocean views and a breakfast to die for.
