Now that the dust has settled after our New England Road Trip, I must write to thank you for planning and arranging our trip. I cannot fault the holiday, it was fantastic. We found, once we hit the scenic route up alongside Lake Ontario, it was like moving into a different world. Upper New York State didn’t disappoint. At that point, we realised stopping to make brief forays into the local area were an essential part of the holiday and the term “road trip” took on a new meaning. We loved it. In fact, I think New York State was as beautiful as New England in many of the parts we saw. I have 1500 photos as testament. I have, of course, recommended the holiday to friends and family and for anyone going on that trip, my one piece of advice would be: always take the scenic route, forget time saving. You will see so much more on the scenic routes.
For your feedback, all hotels were great, beds comfortable, service good, flights fine both for timing and for quality (British Airways). Car rental experience good, sat nav invaluable, although we frequently deviated from the nice American lady’s instruction. Once again, thank you. The holiday was worth every penny!
