Day 1
Arrive in Los Angeles
Once settled into your hotel you may want to stay close to the coast sampling Santa Monica or Venice Beach which are both best explored by bike. Alternatively, head for the Hollywood Hills to see the Griffith Observatory for great views overlooking the city. Nearby Hollywood Boulevard is a tacky but important celebrity fan pilgrimage not to be missed.

Day 2
Enjoy your first full day in LA
There's plenty to keep you busy in Los Angeles. Downtown, the Grand Central Market is a fantastic place to grab breakfast from one of the local vendors. Nearby is the Los Angeles Art District too which is great to explore by foot. The Broad and Walt Disney Concert Hall are just some of the iconic buildings downtown.

Day 3
Explore the city of Angels
Spend the day relaxing or head out and sample more of the sites in Los Angeles. There's plenty to keep you busy. Hollywood is synonymous with glitz and glamour and is the most visited part of the city. Day 4
Man made wonder - Las Vegas
Head east to Las Vegas today. Once you’ve checked into your Las Vegas hotel, get dressed up and hit the tables, bars and restaurants. Alternatively, take the time to relax at your hotel around the pool. If you'd like we can add in an overnight stay in Palm Springs en route, this will improve the drive, Palm Springs is a beautiful desert city and it will give you more time to visit Joshua Tree National Park, just let us know if this appeals when you call up for your quote.

More Las Vegas fun
If your head hurts after a big night out, you can always relax by the amazing pools adorning nearly every hotel. Stretch your legs with a walk along the legendary 'strip', book tickets to one of the incredible shows or take some retail therapy. We recommend visiting one of the over the top buffets in the hotels. Just make sure you are hungry when you go, the range and quality of the food is amazing value!

Day 6
Get blown away by the Grand Canyon
The worlds largest and most well known geological wonder is just staggering. Two billion years in the making, the Colorado River has forged a mile deep, 18 miles wide and 277-mile long gauge into Arizona. Tonight you'll stay in the heart of this incredible National Park.

Monument Valley
Day 7
Antelope Canyon & Monument Valley
Antelope Canyon today, this is the most photographed slot canyon in the southwest of America and best enjoyed around mid morning when the shafts of light fall just right through the red rock formations. Then put your spurs and chaps on, and head to classic cowboy country you’ll witness the proud and majestic “Mittens”, made up of every shade of orange and red. This is another chance to prove your photography skills, again the scenery is so stunning here that even a novice will look like a pro.

Santa Fe
Day 8
Santa Fe today!
Watch the sun rise over Monument Valley, then hit the road to the adobe styles homes, resorts and spas of Santa Fe. The Georgia O'Keeffe museum is a fantastic celebration of her work and love for New Mexico.

Day 9
The Texas Panhandle
We’ll show you the way to Amarillo today, as always your detailed Road Trip Pack will detail a recommended route and the things that you can be seen and do along the way. Your now in the heart of the Texas panhandle. Cadillac Ranch just outside Amarillo is a classic, fun Route 66 stop - not to be missed!.

Down to Dallas
Continue east onto the city of Dallas. With a past and present rich in the stuff that American legends are made of. The 'Big D' is famous for its contributions to popular culture – notably the Cowboys and their cheerleaders, and Dallas, the TV series that once was a worldwide symbol of the USA.

Day 11
Enjoy a full day of country
Put on your cowboy boots and explore the town, highlights include The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza chronicling JFK’s assassination and it’s aftermath. Check out the Reunion Tower, to give you 360 degree views of the city from its observation deck. Finish off your day in Deep Ellum, this former warehouse district is home to live music, brewpubs and restaurants with incredible barbecue and Tex-Mex.

Head to Houston
Spend the morning in Dallas if you wish before heading south to Houston. NASA, the Johnson Space Center literally providing you with an otherworldly experience. Witness the thrills that come with being an astronaut, or venture through the city to partake in shopping or the urban tunnel adventures.

Exploring Houston
The sprawling city of Houston has great museums, dining and shopping options and is a truly cosmopolitan city. The fourth largest in the US, towering skyscrapers dominate downtown in the Magnolia City.

Next up - New Orleans
Follow the Great River Road east to New Orleans, or 'The Big Easy'. Built on the mouth of the Mississippi River, the city has seen a lot of changes in the last 10 years and regeneration work is bringing out the best of its character. Oak Alley Plantation is nearby and is a must-do.

Explore the French Quarter & more
Built on the mouth of the Mississippi, New Orleans is the home of the jazz, voodoo and the craziness that is Mardi Gras. The French Quarter offers so much charm and it's a great place to take a walking tour, sampling great food and live music as you stroll.

Last day in The Big Easy
This will be your final full day to explore New Orleans must see attractions, the following day you'll leave for the airport in order to fly home. Whether you call it NOLA, The Big Easy or just plain old New Orleans, we're confident this lively city will stay with you for many a year.
