Get outdoors in Denver, Colorado. With the Rocky Mountains as you step outside, you won’t be short of spectacular beauty and old west history. Red Rocks amphitheatre is a vibrant music venue. It is also a local favourite for hiking amongst the giant boulders. Nearby Rocky Mountain National Park is packed with wildlife and incredible vistas. You can visit beautiful buildings such as the State Capitol building where you can take a tour, or Union Station and admire the stunning architecture. The Mile High City is full of museums. Visit one of these including the Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum or the Molly Brown House where you can absorb the history. Denver is easily walkable and you can also get from each neighbourhood to the next using Denver B-cycle, the city’s bike-sharing programme. Visit Larimer Square with red brick victorian buildings that will take you back in time.
