The Hoover Dam marks the divide between Nevada and Arizona, forming Lake Mead to the North, which is one of the largest manmade reservers in the world.
The Dam was built to control the flow of the mighty Colorado River, whilst providing electricity for an expanding nation. Today it’s more prominent for providing the public with the opportunity to sail and partake in other water activities in safe circumstances, under the preserve of the National Park Service.
